Q: Do they have hand basin?
A: They all have facilities to wash your hands. In the plastic ranges, the single standard unit and the disable units have liquid hand sanitizers instead of a hand basin. All of our Prestige Loos, including the single premium, the Executive Twin Trailer unts and the entire Mini VIP and VIP units have hand basins.
Q: Do you supply old style, building style toilets, non flushable drop tank or drop tanks loos?
A: No, this is not our market. Prestige Loos only offer the newer flushing tank style loos. We aim to cater to the nicer end of the market, and therefore we do not offer the cheaper "builder site" style loos.
Q: Are Prestige Loos fresh water flushing loos?
A: All the toilets are or can be fresh water flushing.
Q: Is toilet paper supplied?
A: Yes, toilet paper, hand sanitizer or soap, water and paper towels are supplied and included in your rental hire cost.
Q: For my event, how many toilets do I need to how many people?
A: There are a few key factors to consider, and this is one of the primary reasons we prefer to talk with our clients before they book any unit for their event. When considering which Prestige Loos unit will work best for your fuction, here are a few key factors to consider:
1) Will the hired toilets be the primary (only) or secondary toilets for the event?
2) How much food and drink will the guest consume during the event? Obviously, if there is lots of drinking, the loos will fill up quicker.
3) What is the ratio of men to women at your event? Generally speaking, women want nicer toilet facilities, and may dictate more loos needed than male guest.
All of these factors and more, including your budget and the access to your venue will determine which unit is the best fit for your event.
When you are making your booking, please also consider the driving/delivery access to where you want the toilet to go. Are there sharp turns or bends to get the toilet in place? Is there a steep, soft paved or muddy driving access to your venue? We will ask you these question, so have a think through possible obstacles or we can do a site visit so we can handle problems before they arise.
Q: Do the Prestige Loos Mini VIP and VIP units need their own water supply?
A: The bigger units in our rolling (premium) fleet, like our Mini VIP and VIP unit do need a water hose feed (we can supply a length of hose; let us know how far away the unit will be from the tap) but the Executive Twin Trailer unit carries it own water supply and doesn’t need to be hooked up to an external water supply. All the plastic units carry their own water supply.
Q: Does the Prestige Loos VIP unit range require a power source?
A: Yes, the Mini VIP and the VIP units do. They can be plugged in to a house power outlet, with the power cords supplied by Prestige Loos, to run the air-conditioning and lights. The unit use minimal power, 10 amps, so shouldn't be a big additional power draw. But, all other functions on the unit are operational, without needing additional power (automatic paper towel dispensers, etc.)
Q: How many people do the VIP units cater to per hour?
A: The Prestige Loos Mini VIP and VIP unit are the perfect options for events from 50 to 200+ guest. When you hire any of the Prestige Loos VIP units, they come with one of our attendents (up to 6 hours included in the hire cost; additional hours charged to client) whose job is to clean and maintain the unit during your event; the attendent is also responsible for calling the service truck if the unit needs emptying during the event. When you make your booking, we will estimate how many and how often we will need to services the unit, based upon your event requirements. We always endeavour to help your event run as smoothly as possible, in regards to our service.
Q: What size are the toilets?
A: Size and length varies. The single plastic range is approximately 1.2m x 1.2m square. See the loos for hire for additional dimensions or give us a call and we can provide addititional dimensions.
Q: What's the configuration of the toilets in the Mini VIP and the VIP units?
A: All the units in the VIP range have separate sides for the men and women. In the Mini VIP, there are two cubicles on the women's side and two urinals and one cubicle on the men's side. In the VIP units, there are three cubicles on the women's side and one cubicle and six urinals.
In the Executive Twin Trailer units, there are two back-to-back identical cubicles. They are marked men's and women's for guest convenience.
Q: What times do you service? Night or day?
A: Prestige Loos aims to be as hassle'free as possible, so we try and work with the client to find a convenient time to serivce that doens't disrupt the event or the neighbors. We can service yy arrangment, 24/7, preferably when the venue is free of people and movement. If the hireage is only for one day, we normally service once the unit is back at our yard, but it may need to be emptied to remove it from site.
Q:Why are other toilet hire companies cheaper sometimes on their plastics toilet unit quotes?
A: Watch for the additional pricing and add-on extras in the quote. Some competitors line item extra charges for the hand basin and servicing or delivery can be extra also. Be aware of hidden charges when dealing with any supplier. Just make sure you are comparing the full cost. As we say "make sure you are comparing apples to apples, not oranges!"
Q: What about tagging and damage? Am I resposible?
A: Sometimes that is required but this is on a case-by-case basis. We can add in a iinsurance charge, unless your personal insurance covers you. It's best to check your policy and discuss what options you need when you make your booking.
Q: What is the touch free exprience you guys talk about?
A: The "Hygenic hands free exprience" is the term we use to explain our concept in our units. This refers to our sensor range of soap and towel dispners and basin tapware. We are the market leader in premium toilet and try to offer you the best range and options in our units.
